Looking for something to help fill the time during while following "Stay at Home" orders? The Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Environmental Professionals (LA-AEP) is pleased to announce the start of The LA-AEP Book Club!!
Please participate in reading our very first book for Q2 2020:
Silent Spring
A rallying point for the environmental movement that led to the creation of the US EPA in the 1960s, Rachel Carson's 1962 environmental science book documenting the adverse environmental effects caused by the indiscriminate use of pesticides brought environmental concerns to the American public.
Who is invited: Anyone interested in reading a selected book and/or discussing it with a group of environmental professionals!
What is it: The LA-AEP Book Club will consist of a quarterly book selection and discussion!
What kinds of Books: Please recommend any book you think would be interesting to environmental professionals!
